Overall EU industrial production falls but marks growth in Bulgaria

Eurostat data show that at the end of 2016 industrial production in the euro area and the EU sharply decreased, but at the same time Bulgaria has demonstrated substantial progress for the second consecutive month.

Across the EU, a decrease of 1.0 percent compared to November was marked when industrial production marked a monthly growth of 1.6 percent. In Bulgaria in December industrial production increased by 2.1 percent compared to November, when it increased by 1.9%. Year-on-year growth in Bulgaria in December reached 7%.
