President Rumen Radev meets with Patriarch Neophyte

Upholding the intransient moral values and the well-being of every individual and of society are the shared concern of the state and of the Bulgarian Orthodox church.

This was the common position expressed by President Rumen Radev and Patriarch Neophyte who met today at the invitation of the Bulgarian patriarch.

“We have no doubt that when you make decisions for Bulgaria you are guided by the gospel values, by the pursuit of peace, love and justice,” said Patriarch Neophyte. On his part Rumen Radev stressed that our success in church affairs as in affairs of the state lies in concord, faith and unity.
