Bulgaria may lose EU financing negotiated under the pre-accession programme, if the actual construction of the gas interconnector between Bulgaria and Greece does not begin in 2018, the Bulgarian Energy Holding CEO Petyo Ivanov warned. Possible delay of that project may affect the country’s agreement for gas supplies from Azerbaijan, Petyo Ivanov further warned.
