"Standard" quotes former intelligence chief Dimo Ghiaurov, according to whom one of the expelled Turkish citizens was a secretary of the Edirne governor. This is Ibrahim Taranci, secretary general of the regional administration. According to Ghiaurov, calling for autonomy of an area was a crime against the sovereignty of the state.
