Revenue collection from concessions up

The Ministry of Energy has registered a more than 23 percent increase in the collection of revenues from concessions in the first three months of this year, compared to the same period of 2016.

The revenues from concessions, assigned in the State Budget Act in 2016 as well as in 2017 amount to around 17 billion euro. All claims connected with solid fuel concessions have so far been secured. Steps have been taken to collect the sums owed on oil and natural gas, as well as metalliferous minerals. Requests for voluntary payment will be handed to other concessionaries involved in mining building materials and aggregates.
