Construction shrinks in EU, grows in Bulgaria

Eurostat has reported shrinking of construction in the European Union in March offset though by a growth in the sector seen in Bulgaria for s second month running. In March the EU construction sector’s output shrunk 0.8% on February when it had grown 3.9%. In Bulgaria good performance of the construction sector in February and March led to its upsurge during the first trimester of the year with grow reaching as much as 2.6% on end-2016 when growth was fairly modest at 0.4%.
