Kristalina Georgieva develops world investment plan similar to Juncker Investment Plan

In her first interview for a Bulgarian media as CEO of the World Bank, Bulgaria’s former EU Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva told the Bulgarian National Radio on Saturday that she has been working over a world investment plant similar to the Juncker Investment Plan in Europe. The World Bank provides guarantees aimed at reducing the risk and encouraging investments. That financial institution has been developing special financial instruments to deal with poverty and inequality. Some USD 75 billion was collected in the fund allotted to the poorest countries.
