Belarus stops Bulgaria way to Russia World Cup

Bulgaria’s national side in football has practically lost chances of qualifying for the World Cup in Russia next year after last night it scored a third loss in its sixth qualification match.

In the city of Borisov, Bulgaria lost 1:2 to host Belarus and collapsed to the fourth place in the group with 9 points.

Mikhail Sivakov scored for Belarus after a penalty kick in the 33rd minute. The second goal for the hosting team was the work of Pavel Savitski in the 80th minute. In the first minute of the extra time Georgi Kostadinov scored for Bulgaria.
