Berbatov’s team faces Figo’s squad in charity match

A football team headed by Bulgarian Dimitar Beratov is to face a team led by Portuguese footballer Luis Figo in a charity match on Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia tonight. Bulgaria’s football star Dimitar Berbatov described the event as the match of the year. World football legends arrived in Sofia to take part at the All Stars vs United Stars match. Bulgarian football stars Hristo Stoichkov, Krasimir Balakov, Martin Petrov and Stiliyan Petrov are to join the charity event. Some football legends such as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Edwin van der Sar, and Robbie Keane will be part of Berbatov’s team. Luis Figo invited Roberto Carlos, Robert Pires, Deco, Davit Trezeguet, Christian Karembeu, Dwight Yorke, Michel Salgado, Maxwell, Jens Lehmann, Francesko Toldo, Nuno Gomes, Gaizka Mendieta, Ivan Cordoba, Predrag Mijatovic and Jari Litmanen.
