Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev meets Patriarch Neophyte

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has met with Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte in the Synodal Palace, at the invitation of the Metropolitans of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (BOC). Issues related to cooperation and interaction between the institutions were a topic of discussion as the presidential administration and the BOC expressed willingness to work together to resolve them. President Rumen Radev pointed out the need for clear legal regulations of the activities of traditional religious denominations in Bulgaria, guaranteeing their independence from external influences, as well as the security of Bulgarian citizens.
