Forty two year-old man from Sofia detained in connection with Sofia Airport false bomb threat

A forty two year-old man from Bulgaria’s capital Sofia was detained by the Police in connection with the Sofia Airport false bomb threat called in at the emergency phone number on Friday night, the press center of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior announced. The airport was temporarily evacuated after the false threat. The detainee had criminal record for hooliganism. He was arrested for 24 hours. The authorities initiated legal proceedings against the detainee.
