Delegations of the foreign ministries of Bulgaria and Macedonia, headed by ministers Ekaterina Zaharieva and Nikola Dimitrov held consultations in Sofia over the weekend on the draft of a good neighbor agreement between the two countries.

At the talks, which passed in a constructive atmosphere, the sides reached agreement on a basis for compromise. The next steps involve internal consultations and coordination, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.
