Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev approached the Constitutional Court to make binding interpretations of provisions of the Bulgarian Constitution on occasion of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the EU, the press office of the Bulgarian head of state announced. CETA practically influences all spheres of public life, which means that the citizens and the institutions must be aware of the nature of such agreements and their place in the Bulgarian constitutional model.
