Central government is ready to create on its own toll road system without involvement of private companies, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said. He argued that incessant appeals of toll system tenders had been deliberately delaying its introduction.

While on a visit to Varna the prime minister gave the start to the construction of four new boulevards worth 12.5 million euro financed under Regions in Growth Operational Program. The new infrastructure will help alleviate traffic in the Black Sea city and to seaside resorts.

Boyko Borissov also said that during the visit to Bulgaria, including Varna, of French President Emanuel Macron joint shipbuilding projects would be discussed as well as other options of bilateral cooperation.
