This will be yet another challenge for the alpinist as part of his project “A Bulgarian at 14х8000", Dnevnik newspaper reports. A year ago, Boyan Petrov, who is a zoologist and is employed by the National Museum of Natural History in Sofia, was injured in a car accident in the Kresna Gorge, Southwestern Bulgaria, while he was doing research in the region following too many wild animals smashed to death on the road. Owing to the expeditions of Boyan Petrov, today the National Museum of Natural History at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences keeps the richest collection ofhigh-mountain invertebrate animals in the world.
