MiG-29 aircraft not compatible with aircraft of NATO partners: President Rumen Radev

It is unacceptable and unprofitable not to buy new jet fighters and spend the money on maintenance of current combat aviation. In this way Bulgarian President Rumen Radev replied to the minister of defense who said he was looking for options to maintain the available MiG-29 aircraft. According to the president, despite the good maneuverability of the MiGs, they do not provide for advanced combat capabilities. In addition, fighter aircraft must be compatible with NATO forces and MiG-29 jet fighters are not, the president explained.
