Industrial sector in Bulgaria attracts biggest volume of foreign investments

The foreign direct investments in the non-financial sector in Bulgaria at the end of 2016 amounted to EUR 23.491 billion, or 1.4% more as compared to the end of 2015, preliminary data of Bulgaria’s National Statistical Institute show. The industrial sector in Bulgaria attracted biggest volume of FDIs- EUR 10.139 billion, followed by the service sector which attracted foreign investments to the tune of EUR 5.887 billion. 68.2% of all foreign direct investments in Bulgaria were made in those two spheres.
