The Bulgarian press provides extensive coverage of worldwide reactions that condemn the sixth nuclear test carried out by North Korea. Special attention in media is given to the agreement between the United States and South Korea for studying the option of a military answer to Pyongyang’s actions. Newspapers also quote the strong-worded reaction of Bulgaria whose Foreign Ministry has termed the fresh North Korean nuclear test “a grave provocation and a serious violation of the respective resolution of the United Nations and of the IAEA safeguard agreement".The Foreign Ministry has urged Pyongyang to terminate once and for all its nuclear and ballistic program in an irreversible way complying fully with its international commitments, as well as to engage in constructive dialogue with the international community for finding a way out of the situation in a peaceful way.
