Every country is under threat from radicalization, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov told the press on the sidelines of the 13th International Conference “Terrorism and Electronic Media” underway in Sofia. Asked whether there is evidence of the presence of Islamist cells in Bulgaria, Karakachanovpointed out that the topic was sensitive and such information was not being discussed in public. However he added that “there are attempts to create such things”. He recalled the trial in the city of Pazardzhik and explained that there were things there prompting a few conclusions. Karakachanovalso said there was a connection between terrorism and the migration flow.
