The total business climate indicator in September decreases with 0.8% as compared to August 2017 when the indicator marked a 0.5% increase, data of the latest research of Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute show. The deterioration of the business climate is due to decrease of the business climate in construction, retail trade and service sector. An increase was registered in the industrial sector only. The business climate in industry increases with 1.9% in September and makes up for the sharp 2.2% drop registered a month earlier. This was due to more optimistic expectations of Bulgarian entrepreneurs about the condition of their enterprises.
