General Secretary of European Trade Union Confederation Luca Visentini visits Sofia

The General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation Luca Visentini and representatives of Bulgarian labor unions and Bulgaria’s cabinet will discuss on Monday in Sofia the social topics during the Bulgarian rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Bulgaria’s position on the European Pillar of Social Rights, which is expected to be presented by the end of 2017, will be also subject to discussions today. Luca Visentini and representatives of the Bulgarian government will also discuss topics related to the equalization of wages in Eastern and Western Europe and the issue related to changes in the posted workers directive raised by the French President Emmanuel Macron during his recent visit to Sofia.
