Ten people detained in joint operation of Chief Directorate Combating Organized Crime and Specialized Prosecutor’s Office

Ten people have been detained so far in the city of Ruse in a joint operation of Bulgaria’s Chief Directorate Combating Organized Crime and the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, the Spokesperson of Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Rumiana Arnaudova announced on Saturday. The operation has been held against organized crime group allegedly engaged in racketeering and drug distribution. Raids took place in homes, offices, currency exchange bureau, night club and a café downtown Ruse. We cannot provide more information at the moment, because the investigative actions are still continuing, Rumiana Arnaudova further said.
