Bulgaria has very skilled and highly-qualified military staff which needs good military equipment. Currently, Bulgaria’s military staff is at a better level than your country’s military equipment, the Ambassador of the USA to Sofia Eric Rubin told Horizont channel of the Bulgarian National Radio on Saturday. This is so, because except for some fields, no modernization of Bulgaria’s military equipment has been made since this country joined NATO. The USA supports the modernization of the Bulgarian armed forces and the targets set by the Bulgarian cabinet and Parliament, Eric Rubin went on to say. Bulgaria needs modern military and technical equipment, so that its defense can function well on national level and within NATO, Ambassador Rubin further said.
