The promotion of wine and culinary tourism will attract more tourists to the Bulgarian provinces and countryside and will establish the image of the country as an all-year-round tourism destination, said Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova.
Angelkova together with Minister of Agriculture Rumen Porozhanov presented the project ShareBulgaria, a joint initiative of the two ministries. The project focuses on the development and promotion of twelve new destinations for wine and culinary tourism in Bulgaria which will be announced in mid-2018.
The campaign ShareBulgaria is going to give publicity to the concept of the so-called slow tourism. Its goal is to preserve traditions and culture by accentuating local food, wine and customs, Nikolina Angelkova explained.
