Code Orange for strong winds declared for 14 Bulgarian districts on Sunday

Code Orange for strong winds was declared for 14 Bulgarian districts on Sunday, October 29, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announced. The orange code is in place for Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Ragzrgrad, Silistra, Shumen, Varna and Dobrich. The wind gusts may reach 30 meters per second. Yellow code for strong winds was declared for five districts in Southwest Bulgaria, including Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, the warning further reads.
