BNR with enlightenment mission abroad

On the National Enlighteners Day November 1 Moldova’s Radio Albena based in the town of Taraclia (the center of the Bulgarian community in Moldova) started to broadcast a one hour show of the Bulgarian National Radio named Bulgarian Hour. The broadcast is of cultural, historical, cognitive, musical and educational nature. The inclusion of the Bulgarian diaspora abroad to Bulgaria through information, cultural, musical and educational programmes is an important part of the program policy of the Bulgarian National Radio. Following an agreement between Radio and Television Caribrod and the Bulgarian National Radio, some broadcasts of the BNR are already available to the listeners in the Western Outlands. Currently, the BNR is working on a similar agreement with the Radio and Television of Vojvodina in Novi Sad. The Bulgarian National Radio has already renewed its participation in radio broadcasts for one of the largest Bulgarian communities abroad- in Toronto, Canada. BNR provides music and topical information to radio stations which broadcast shows in Bulgarian.
