Dimitrov climbed the tennis rankings, because Novak Djokovic (Serbia) and Andy Murray (Great Britain) were unable to defend their points from the Paris Masters since they did not take part at the tournament. Thus, Djokovic dropped to the 12th position in the ATP ranking and remained outside top 10 for the first time in ten years. Andy Murray is 16th in the new ATP ranking.
