National Assembly appoints Kiril Ananiev new Minister of Health

The Bulgarian National Assembly has appointed Kiril Ananiev as the new Minister of Health. The nomination of the new minister was presented in Parliament by Deputy Premier Tomislav Donchev through a short CV. Kiril Ananiev is well known by the central and local authorities with his competence and experience in the management of the public finance. Minister Ananiev took an oath at the National Assembly and promised to work will all political parties represented at the Parliament, the civil society and the professional organizations to improve and develop the Bulgarian health system. The socialist party replied that GERB did not have any strategy to improve the Bulgarian healthcare and called on the new Health Minister to pay special attention to the emergency.
