There is no direct evidence against the perpetrators of the terrorist act against Burgas Airport of Sarafovo back in 2012 in which five Israeli tourists and the Bulgarian bus driver Mustafa Kyosov died. This is claimed by Radoslav Nikolov, official solicitor of defendant Hasan El HadjHasan.

The defendants in the trial for the terrorist act are two – Lebanese emigrant in Canada Hasan El HadjHasan and a Lebanese with Australian citizenship Meliad Farah.

Investigation into the case has continued for four years and for longer than a year the Specialized Criminal Court of Justice in Sofia has not proceeded with the trial. Proceedings on the trial are expected to open in December.
