Bulgarian Presidency of Council of European Union to seek consensus decisions in active dialogue with citizens

Bulgaria’s capital Sofia hosted a meeting of the Group of Directors General for Industrial Relations under the European Commission. The event is on the calendar of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova underlined in her speech that Bulgaria’s ambition is to look for a balance between the specific priorities of the member states and the strategic priorities of the European Union. In her words, the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be open to the citizens and will follow the principles of transparency and accountability. Youth employment and better planning of policies in the fields of education, training, employment, policies for early childhood development, etc, will be among the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Zornitsa Rusinova also said.
