Deputy PM Simeonov: Energy Union must be based on equality between EU Member States

Achieving a stable European Energy Union was a focus in the speech of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy, Valeri Simeonov at a forum of the Visegrad Group with the participation of Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.

He pointed out that the European Energy Union should reflect the specificities of individual Member States and be based on a level playing field and added there was need for better energy connectivity and integration of the countries part of the European Union.

Deputy Prime Minister Simeonov takes part in the meeting at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.
