President Radev: Our foreign policy must be a policy of making friends in the world

At the traditional annual reception for heads of diplomatic missions, accredited to Bulgaria, President Rumen Radev stated that Bulgaria’s foreign policy must be open, principled and predictable, a policy of making friends and winning over partners in the world.

President Radev highlighted the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans as a top priority for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Bulgaria wants to deepen its partnership with its neighbours in the region and its partners from the EU and NATO, but also with Russia, India, China, Brazil and other countries of Asia and America with a big investment potential, the Bulgarian President said.
