World Radio Day is marked on February 13th. It was first celebrated back in 2012 after a declaration of UNESCO General Conference and later on it was officially proclaimed a World Day by the UN General Assembly. The BNR marks the day for a 6th year in a row under the slogan Radio & Sports. A morning training exercise was organized with triple jump Olympic champion from Sydney Summer Games in 2000 and also European and world champ Tereza Marinova. She commented for the BNR: ‘I teach the children that I train that when your dream is strong, it can be achieved. I want to show them that I am the example myself – and also that a dream can be as real as they have never imagined. Evgenia Radanova, three-time winter Olympics medalist is hosting tonight the Horizont Program’s sports show – Na Finala /At the Finish/.
