His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has landed at Sofia Airport where he was welcomed by Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Iotova.
“I am very happy to step on the hospitable Bulgarian land which is so very close to my heart, and meet His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte, the clergy and the faithful Bulgarian people”, was the first thing the Russian patriarch said in Sofia.
