Biggest technology expo Sofia Startup Expo 2018 takes place in Sofia

Bulgaria, bringing together the most innovative startups, along with executives from some of the top corporations, government agencies, investors, venture capital funds and technology companies from all over the world.

“Some of the things going on in the economy go unnoticed and we do not pay them enough attention,” said Alexander Manolev. In his words 82 contracts with startups are currently being implemented under the OP Innovations and Competitiveness. He explained that a 67 million Leva programme of support to entrepreneurship will be launched in the spring of this year. Manolev says that there is a startup community in Bulgaria, a developing startup ecosystem, demonstrated by the fact that last year Bulgaria hosted the European Startup Awards.
