Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Varna to participate in the European Union-Turkey meeting. President of the European Council, Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, arrive from Brussels for the forum.
Before heading for Bulgaria, Erdogan said Turkey's EU accession remained a strategic goal for Ankara. He pointed out that the stronger the dialogue between Turkey and Bulgaria, the more useful this would be for the entire Balkan peninsula.
