Talks of Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov in Pristina, update

Kosovo’s only possible way to pursue is to become member of EU and NATO, Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi told the press emerging from talks with Bulgarian Prime Ministers Boyko Borissov.

The Bulgarian premier is on a one-day visit to Pristina. Hashim Thaçi pointed out that the visit of Boyko Borissov to Pristina was a visit of a leader of a country friendly for Kosovo. He thanked the Bulgarian premier not only for the visit but also for the attention to the country and for that it will contribute to good relations in the region.

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov pointed out that Kosovo and Serbia should normalize bilateral relations. “With the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic you carry a huge burden on your shoulders but you must go through this ordeal”, Borissov said.

The prime ministers of Bulgaria and Kosovo Boyko Borissov and Ramush Haradinaj have discussed the development of bilateral relations and the need for good neighbor relations as a basis for stability and prosperity in the Balkans.

The two leaders met in Pristina as part of the visit of the Bulgarian prime minister, the press service of the Council of Ministers said.
