South Black Sea Coast tourist region created

Mayors of 12 municipalities from the region of Burgas have united for the sake of creating a tourist cluster aimed to boost the development of tourism in the region. Work on creating South Black Sea Coast Region began in 2016 in response to the idea of tourist zoning of Bulgaria laid out in the 2013 Tourism Act. The new tourist region called South Black Sea Coast allows the creation of regional tourist products, implementation of regional marketing and advertising, as well as European financing of tourist centers.
