Sofia summit to discuss concrete projects for connectivity in the Western Balkans

At the EU-Western Balkans Summit on 17 May in Sofia, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EBRD, will present concrete projects for building connectivity and the infrastructure of the Western Balkans.

In a telephone conversation with PM Boyko Borissov which took place on the initiative of the President of the EBRD, Suma Chakrabarti acquainted the Bulgarian prime minister with the bank’s plans regarding the Western Balkans. The sides specified that during the Sofia summit, Suma Chakrabarti and Boyko Borissov will discuss, with the leaders of the countries in the Western Balkans, possibilities for cooperation with the financial institution.
