Minister Nikolina Angelkova: 5,400 workers from abroad in tourism expected this summer

This summer we are expecting the greatest number of seasonal workers from countries outside the EU to come from Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. Heightened interest has also been registered from the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia, said in Rousse Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova. She stated that last year around 3,400 seasonal workers from third countries had been hired, adding that this year their number is expected to reach around 5,400 according to preliminary information from employers, most of all in the Black Sea resorts of Albena, Golden Sands and Sunny Beach.
