Bulgaria joins campaign for adequate minimum income in EU

At a round table dedicated to living standards and measuring poverty at national level, organized by the Ministry of Labor in Sofia, it was announced that Bulgaria has joined the campaign for introducing an adequate minimum income in order to ensure a better life for European citizens.

Deputy Minister of Labor Sultanka Petrova said that defining an adequate minimum income would be done in a new way, in order to ensure that its size will correspond both to the GDP per capita achieved and to the needs of people.
