Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary to improve cooperation in natural gas

Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary will work to ensure energy security in the region by improving cooperation in the field of natural gas. 

This was made clear at a meeting of Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova, Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó . 

Central to the talks has been the execution of the of the project for the construction of the Bulgaria-Serbia gas interconnection. Ministers Petkova and Antic have vowed that all necessary measures will be taken to put the interconnector into operation by 2022.
