Bulgaria among leading European countries in increase in new car sales

The increase in the number of new car sales in Bulgaria once again place the country among the leading countries of Europe according to this indicator, data of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association shows.

In May Bulgaria was second only to Romania, as the number of new car deals in the country went up dramatically – by 34.6 percent. In Romania this percentage stands at 43.3, and for the EU overall – at below 1 percent.

A total of 3,308 new automobiles were sold in Bulgaria in May 2018. Since the beginning of this year, the number of new car deals stands at almost 15,000, which means an increase of 25.6 percent, which places the country in third position out of all EU countries according to this indicator.
