Actual individual consumption in Bulgaria is 45% below EU average

In 2017 the actual individual consumption which measures the household wealth ranged between 55% and 130% of the EU average in different EU member states. Bulgaria was last in the ranking. The actual individual consumption in this country was 45% below the EU average, the National Statistical Institute informs, quoting Eurostat data. According to Eurostat, the gross domestic product per capita in Bulgaria was 49% of the EU average, whereas in Luxembourg for instance the GDP per capita ratio was at 253% of the EU average.
