In an exclusive interview with the Bulgarian National Radio, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker gave a high assessment to the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU, saying it was presidency that set positive example.

Juncker pointed out that at the start of the presidency, just 30 per cent of Bulgarians thought it would be a success, and now he is pleased to see that 81 per cent of the country's citizens view it as successful. This, according to the President of the European Commission, proves that if a country did its job well and had a well- prepared agenda and framework, as Bulgaria did, then public trust also increased.
