A queue exceeding 5 km has formed as cars are waiting to cross the checkpoint of Kapitan Andreevo on the border with Turkey. Busy traffic is mostly due to guest workers travelling to Turkey for holidays.

Over the last 24 hours, close to 10,000 cars with about 40,000 passengers crossed into Turkey. Traffic is expected to remain very busy by the end of the month.
