Bulgaria’s unemployment falls to its lowest rate since 2000

In June 2018 the unemployment rate in the European Union remained at 6.9% (the lowest since 2008), data of Eurostat show. The Euro Area Unemployment was at 8.3%, (the lowest since December 2008). In June this year Bulgaria’s unemployment rate fell to 4.8%. In May it was slightly higher-4.9%. Bulgaria’s unemployment rate in June 2018 was at its lowest level since this country was included in the Eurostat statistics back in 2000.
