This year’s edition of the traditional Bulgarian-Chinese yoghurt festival in Momchilovtsi will be held between September 7 and 9, the mayor of the Rhodope village Siyka Surkova announced. The festival accentuates on the yoghurt’s health benefits and sends a message of health and longevity. A Chinese company which promotes dairy products with Momchilovtsi label on the market of the Asian country is co-organizer of the yoghurt festival. In Mrs Surkova’s words, the number of Chinese tourists visiting the village of Momchilovtsi has increased after the successful advertising campaign.
