Prosecutor’s offices of Bulgaria and Albania sign memorandum of cooperation

Albania’s Prosecutor General Arta Marku is paying an official visit to Sofia today and tomorrow at the invitation of her Bulgarian counterpart Sotir Tsatsarov.

The two signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in rendering international legal aid and exchange of information. The document is an important element of the interaction among the prosecutor’s offices of the Balkan countries.

The prosecutor’s office of Bulgaria had so far concluded such memoranda with the prosecutor’s offices of Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia.
