Legendary Bulgarian rock band Signal are celebrating 40 years on stage with a free concert on 29 September in Southern Park in Sofia.

Signal was founded in 1978 and recorded their first album in 1979. They have so far released 18 albums, 11 of which studio albums. Yordan Karadzhov has been the band’s frontman and songwriter of a great many of their songs from the very start. “Craving you”, “Blind day”, Miss you”, “Stop in your tracks” and many more songs have gained iconic status in Bulgarian rock. Since 2011 the four musicians from Signal have had their own star in the hall of fame in Sofia, alongside the names of many other Bulgarians whose work has popularized the country far and wide.
